My Plant Babies

I spend time every day and some days, a great deal of time, interacting with, as well as, caring for, my plant babies. To me, it is a hobby I love and have done it, at varying degrees, over most of my life. At times, it can be overwhelming, but there is just something about nurturing them and watching them grow and thrive, that is fulfilling to me. I love to just sit, with my morning coffee and watch them. It just makes me feel good and get my day started on a positive note.

For Valentine's Day 2021, we had some pretty cold, freezing weather. With all our preparation and because we lost power for so many days, I lost all my plant babies. It was a very hard situation to deal with and an emotional experience, I hope never repeats. Unpotting and disposing of so many plant babies was sad, but, I did replace them. Now I have my hands full with a new family of plants and they are beautiful!
